ABOUT ME

Hello! I am Marta Pinheiro (Porto, 1990), architect and designer. Holding a Master's degree in Architecture from the Faculty of Architecture of University of Minho, I’m currently working on my PhD research in Design at the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Lisbon. My professional career has spanned the fields of architecture, interior design, scenography and shop window design. With collaborations with various organisations and brands, including Porto City Council (CMP), Fundação Júlio Resende - Lugar do Desenho, Eugénio Campos Jewels and Alcino Silversmith. I also work for private clients and architectural firms.

My Shop Window Display Designs have been the subject of several awards and commendations/honourable mentions in various competitions.

PHILOSOPHY

Every brand, every store, has a different story to be told. Its physical space is the direct point of contact with the customer, the place where the brand's concept, its personality, is communicated and experienced. What I do is to recognise this story, this personality, and work with it, creating a differentiated and personalised project that responds to the needs of each space, each shop and each brand.
